Robinair RG3 refrigerant recovery machine is used to recover both liquid & vapour refrigerants from systems before servicing them. • Firstly, place the machine on a stable surface.
• Install a clean filter screen or filter / dryer to the inlet fitting.
• Connect a hose from the liquid port of the recovery cylinder into the outlet fitting on the unit.
• Connect a hose from the outlet port of a manifold gauge set to the inlet fitting on the unit through the filter / dryer.
• Connect a hose from the selected system's liquid side to the liquid (low pressure) side of the manifold gauge set.
• Connect a hose from the system's vapour side to the vapour (high) side of the manifold gauge set.
